Chris Smith has been named vice president of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s Greater Chicago Region, which spans Central and Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. In his new role, Smith will oversee Comcast’s regional direct and indirect, multi-family and retail sales channels, as well as the region’s marketing strategy. Smith joined Comcast in 2014 as senior director of Commercial Development.

Smith received his Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS.
Smith lives in Barrington, IL. When he’s not at work or spending time with his family, Smith enjoys running, ranging from 5k runs to marathons.
